Alivia, Natalie, and Claire recently competed in the Sub-District Job Interview Career Development Event (CDE). Participants prepared a professional resume, cover letter, job application, follow up letter, and completed an in-person interview to showcase their career readiness skills. Congratulations to all members for their hard work and outstanding representation of our chapter!

Come see the Class of 2030 perform "Just Another High School Play," this Friday at 7 p.m. in the Cafetorium! Tickets are $10 adults, $8 students and seniors.

Plot summary: The drama students are in trouble -- they skipped too many practices, so their director abandoned them, and now it's opening night! Watch the chaos unfold as the stage manager and assistant director try to cobble together a showcase of scenes in front of a live audience. Sword fights, rapping ghosts, balcony scenes--and one VERY creepy puppet--all performed by our cast of very talented 8th graders. Join us this Friday, November 7th!

The volleyball team will be playing Tiffin Calvert tomorrow at 2pm at the Elida Fieldhouse in the Regional Final. There will be a send off from the Miller City Sportsman's Club at 11:30. Tickets for tomorrow's game are $12 (adult) and $5 (student) will be available at the gate or online at: https://www.ohsaa.org/tickets

HS Volleyball: Regional Semis at Elida vs Norwalk St. Paul: Miller City wins in 3! First trip to the regional finals in school history ! Next game on Saturday at 2pm versus winner of Calvert and Kalida. 25-19, 25-22, 25-13 

Congratulations to Nayeli G.! She was selected by the Putnam Youth Tobacco Awareness Coalition as the winner of the Putnam County Anti-Vaping Art contest for MCNC! Great job!

Middle & High School Honor Roll

During middle school lunch, students were placed in random groups for Mix It Up day; a day all about stepping out of your comfort zone, making new connections, and showing what inclusion really looks like at our school.

When we mix it up, we make sure no one feels invisible. A smile, a hello, or a new conversation can change someone’s entire day. Students had conversation starters at their table to learn about each other and then were tasked with a collaborative project where they had to work together as a team.

Kindness is powerful. Inclusion is a choice. Today, we mix it up. 💛💙

Miller City Cross Country Results They ended their season today. OHSAA D4 Regionals at Hedges Boyer Park Tiffin, Ohio High School Varsity Girls: Julia Recker- 86th out of 305 runners in a time of 21:47. Karlee Gilgenbach- 139th out of 305 runners in a time of 22:37. High School Varsity Boys: Dominic Pfau- 147th out of 297 runners in a time of 18:17.
