The Miller City FFA Chapter kicked off their third day at the National FFA Convention by attending the 4th General Session, where they heard an inspiring message from Ohio native and National FFA Secretary, Luke Jennings. His powerful speech encouraged members to be the light in the world and strive to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
After the session, members toured the Cummins Engine Assembly Plant in Columbus, Indiana, where they learned about innovation, teamwork, and the technology behind engine manufacturing.
To cap off an exciting day, the chapter enjoyed the Three Hills Rodeo at the Indiana State Fairgrounds — a thrilling and fun experience that brought the group together to celebrate another memorable day at convention!

During the session, members listened to keynote speaker A’ric Jackson, who encouraged students to stay true to themselves and not be defined by others’ opinions. Afterward, the group explored the FFA Expo Center and Mega Store, where they discovered new agricultural innovations and FFA merchandise. The day concluded with a fun-filled evening at the Buckeye Bash, held at Kelsay Farms in Whiteland, Indiana.

Come see the Class of 2030 perform "Just Another High School Play," this Friday at 7 p.m. in the Cafetorium! Tickets are $10 adults, $8 students and seniors.

Plot summary: The drama students are in trouble -- they skipped too many practices, so their director abandoned them, and now it's opening night! Watch the chaos unfold as the stage manager and assistant director try to cobble together a showcase of scenes in front of a live audience. Sword fights, rapping ghosts, balcony scenes--and one VERY creepy puppet--all performed by our cast of very talented 8th graders. Join us this Friday, November 7th!
