Alex Sheen Announcement!
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Miller City High School is excited to announce an upcoming assembly for our students. On September 17th, we will welcome Alex Sheen, founder of the “Because I Said I Would” movement, to share his powerful message with our sixth through twelfth grade students.
Alex’s story is rooted in the lessons he learned from his late father, a man who was known for always keeping his promises and being a steady source of strength for his family. From that example, Alex developed a movement that emphasizes the importance of commitment, character, and integrity—qualities we strive to instill in all of our students.
We are pleased to also be hosting students from Continental High School and Leipsic High School for this special event.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Putnam County Mental Health Board for generously sponsoring this opportunity for our students.
We are confident that Alex’s message will inspire our students to reflect on the importance of their word and the impact that following through on commitments can have on themselves and others.
