2024 Putnam County Manufacturing Day was a success!
Thanks to the planning of the Workforce Partnership of Putnam County, our 8th grade students were able to visit two awesome manufacturers in our local area: BK Tool of Kalida and Nelson Manufacturing of Ottawa.
These facilities hosted our students with open arms and shared with them all of the wonderful things they are doing that have worldwide effects! Our students learned about the world of manufacturing and the plentiful job opportunities we have right here in our own county. Skilled trades is where it's at right now! Great careers can be found in manufacturing! Thank you for this experience for our students!

Thank you to the Elchinger family for letting the Ag Power class visit their shop to learn about diesel engine performance! The kids learned about modifications made to a diesel engine that increase horsepower and speed down a track. It was a fun and informative experience for the students.
