The 7th and 8th Grade Wildcat Gifted and Talented (Wildcat GT) students are excited to begin a new project—creating a “Decades Museum” focused on the 1980s!
Students will be researching the decade and collecting authentic items to display in a temporary museum exhibit here at school before the end of the year. We are hoping to create an engaging, interactive experience for our school community.
We would love your help! If you have any items from the 1980s that you would be willing to loan to us for this project, please contact Mr. Lucas to coordinate drop-off or pick-up:
lucas_r@mcncschools.orgBelow are some of the categories and items we are hoping to include:

Water testing results for the new building did not come through today. The district now expects them some time tomorrow morning. Due to that reality, the school will provide available bottled water for the duration of the school day on Tuesday to students and employees. The available bottled water will be stationed next to every disabled drinking fountain throughout the new building. The district also encourages students to bring their own bottled water if they so desire. The school kitchen has also been advised of the necessity of boiling water for any cooking purposes for Tuesday’s meal.

We are just one day away from the start of our FFA Alumni Plant Sale! Our FFA members have spent several months to grow a variety of plants and are eager to share the results of their hard work with the community. Due to construction, the sale will be held outside of the ag shop, near the varsity baseball diamond. We encourage you to attend and support this event. Proceeds help provide opportunities for our members to participate in conventions and Career Development Events, allowing them to further develop their knowledge in agriculture. We appreciate your continued support!
