Due to high winds, we are requesting that anyone that can pick up their child today from school , should do so. If doing so, please call the school to let them know. We will still run busses but trying to limit the amount of time busses are on the road. Thanks for your understanding.

Next time you’re behind one of our school buses, you’ll notice some bright new safety upgrades. Thanks to a recent state grant, we have equipped every route bus with dual, fully illuminated stop-arm signs, located at both the front and rear, to ensure maximum visibility during student loading. This grant is also allowing for the future addition of enhanced backup lighting near the rear tires to help our drivers navigate dark driveways safely during early morning routes. Please join us in keeping our students safe by remaining extra vigilant whenever you’re near a school bus.

The Miller City FFA Officer Team organized an 8th Grade Recruitment Day this past Friday, February 27th, to introduce students to the opportunities available through FFA and agricultural education. During the event, 8th grade students learned about the three parts of agricultural education which includes: the classroom, Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs), and FFA. The officer team conducted engaging activities to spark interests in taking an agriculture class next year. Activities included a tour of our chapter crop plot & shop, the history of FFA, and soil sciences. This was a great opportunity to connect with future members and encourage them to get involved in agricultural education and leadership activities.

Dylan S. and Noah K. recently competed in the District Agricultural Power Career Development Event at Ag Pro in Upper Sandusky. Throughout the competition, students demonstrated their technical knowledge and hands-on skills in areas such as small engines, electrical systems, machinery operation, and troubleshooting. They completed as a team, applying classroom knowledge to real-world agricultural power scenarios. This experience strengthened their problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, and preparedness for future careers in agricultural mechanics and power systems. They placed 5th in the district!
