Our seniors had a job shadowing day to help solidify their career choices. Our juniors took the ACT. Our sophomores took the ASVAB for career exploration, met with a national guard recruiter, and took a tour of PRO-TEC in Leipsic. Our freshmen toured Northwest State Community College and Defiance College. And our 8th graders got to tour our high school programming to help them make course selections between Ag, Engineering, Biomedical, and Business pathways.
A special thank you to all of these organizations for helping our students make decisions about their futures! We appreciate your support!

Mark your calendar as the Putnam County Art Show is just around the corner! Here’s a tiny sneak peek of some of the incredible pieces that will be on display!

Four members of the Miller City FFA Chapter recently traveled to Paulding High School to compete in the District Agricultural Sales Career Development Event. During the competition, students demonstrated their knowledge and professionalism by selling animal feed. Participants competed both individually and as a team, strengthening their communication, marketing, and problem-solving skills. This valuable experience allowed them to further develop the essential skills needed for success in agricultural sales and the broader agricultural industry.

For the first time in chapter history, the Miller City FFA competed in the Agriculture Communications CDE. Alivia, Noah, Natalie, and Issac demonstrated creativity and professionalism throughout the three-hour competition. Their project focused on promoting the Ohio Agronomy Guide and included a magazine layout, feature story, social media plan, and broadcast segment. Samples of their work are attached below. Congratulations to the team on earning 10th place in the state!

Congratulations to these first-year FFA members who participated in the Sub-District Public Speaking CDE! Both members competed in Creed Speaking, which evaluates their ability to memorize and recite the FFA Creed and answer related questions. This competition helps enhance public speaking skills, build self-confidence, and advance FFA members within the program. Madisyn placed 1st and will advance to the next level. Congratulations!
